Live 'n' Rare

A hand-numbered double-CD collection of rare live tracks from the legendary CAPTAIN BEEFHEART. Twenty-six songs in all--fourteen of which are from a recently discovered tape--recorded in the years 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, and 1980. Packaged in a deluxe box with a special card slipcase, six previously unpublished photos of the Captain on stage in London (1980), with a Beefheart stamp printed on the back of each, an eight-page booklet, and double-sided color inlay. Dedicated to the late John Peel who was instrumental in exposing Captain Beefheart to a wider audience.
