Loney, Noir (CD)
Emil Svanängen's music has been described as soulful indie folk with a powerful mini orchestra. Layer upon layer, adding instrumentation and vocals, these songs seem to bloom like time-lapse photography, depicting glimpsed scenes of modern disaffection and timeless yearning. Loney, Noir is at once effervescent and resigned, exhilarating and melancholy, joyous and confessional.![]()

| I will keep it short but sweet. Buy this album immediately. Listen to it at least twice. I know you will love it as much as I do. I don't think it can be considered for the best album of the year since it is a re-release from 2005, but if it could be it would. This is the perfect album. I have listened to it hundreds of times or more and I still just can not get tired of it. Do yourself a favor and add this item to your shopping cart. | |
