Second full-length album from the Leeds/Sheffield ensemble, explores the theme of love songs in all their many manifestations. Perhaps less experimental than its predecessors, but more visceral. 'Big Eyes make music that's perfect to smudge your mascara to: velvety instrumentals streaked with unfurling string glassandos, droplets of Spanish guitar and the tears of a million broken hearts.
