2009, Cherry Red Records
Before, during, and after his partnership with Peter Becker in the early-'80s post punk pop duo Eyeless in Gaza, Martyn Bates pursued a widely varied solo career that ranged from industrial noise to pop balladry to traditional British folk music, and by the late '90s, into a blend of ambient and post-minimalist modern classical music. This is a digital reissue of Martyn's very rare solo album 'Love Smashed On A Rock'.
