El Perro Del Mar's third album Love is Not Pop is a conscious step away from 2008's From The Valley to the Stars. The mindset is darker and the sound-scape mysteriously groovy. Thus it is not by chance Sarah Assbring (aka El Perro Del Mar) chose to work together with Rasmus Hagg, the other half of the Swedish duo Studio, as a co-producer.
