Luniculaire

This EP is a highly ambitious recording containing five songs all sung in French, and expanding upon the wide palette of musical ideas heard on White Hinterland's debut, Phylactery Factory. It features two original songs, plus covers of songs made famous by Serge Gainsbourg, Brigitte Fontaine, and Francoise Hardy. It's obvious that the band is exploring a plethora of musical ideas on Luniculaire, from heavy grooves, funky rhythms, and scorching guitar to layered guitar work, spooky atmospherics, and strange percussive sounds. White Hinterland has a deep musical vision.
