Produced by The Decemberists' Chris Funk, the debut album from Portland's Y La Bamba blends breathtaking three-part harmonies, reverb-laden guitars, and a songbook written in both English and Spanish by six-foot tall, tattooed lead songstress Luzelena Mendoza.
