Lymbyc Systym
Lymbyc Systym's laptop post-rock is generated by brothers Jared and Michael Bell, who had previously been members of various bands in Tempe, AZ. Jared and Michael had been collaborating since their preteens, messing around with toy guitars and drum sets. They finally joined forces in 2001 for Lymbyc Systym, which balances acoustic instruments and programming. The two have since earned opening slots for such bands as the Album Leaf and Mice Parade. With a touring schedule that keeps them on the road seemingly more than it gives them time at home, Lymbyc Systym have miraculously completed their second full-length release, entitled Shutter Release.
