MENEGUAR

The Brooklyn indie rock outfit Meneguar features Justin Wertz, Jeremy Earl, Jarvis Taveniere, and Christian Deroeck. Formed in 2004 after playing with various bands, Meneguar began recording their debut, I Was Born at Night, in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bushwick that winter. A limited-edition pressing for Magic Bullet followed in May; by the year's end, Nicolas Vernhes (Silver Jews, Ted Leo, Fischerspooner) signed on to remix and remaster I Was Born at Night for Troubleman Unlimited.
