Maceo and All the Kings Men

Led by sax virtuoso Maceo Parker, the group Maceo and All the King's Men was made up of disgruntled James Brown sidemen who left the Godfather of Soul's touring & recording revue in a mass exodus in 1970.

Original Lineup included :
Saxophone [Alto, Tenor] - Maceo Parker
Bass - Bernard Odum
Drums - Melvin Parker
Guitars - Alfonzo Kellum , Jimmy Nolen
Saxophone [Tenor] - Eldee Williams
Trumpet - Richard Griffith

Many of the musicians would return over the years to play again with James Brown.
