Man Meat

This Los Angeles dance/funk/prog band consists of ex-Weave! drummer and vocalist Nicole Turley and ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers' guitarist John Frusciante. Together they blend the exotic dance-punk flow of Tom Tom Club and Raincoats with the dark Germanic arrangements of Can and Neu! Recorded in the Hollywood Hills during the winter of 2009/2010 and featuring a slew of guest appearances ranging from Duran Duran bassist John Taylor ("Tigress Ritual") to The Like's Laena Myers on bass and violin.
