Finally on CD format. The first summer hit of 2001?? Maybe… if it wasn't for the fact it was winter. (can it still be a summer hit if it comes out in February?) anyway… 'Melanie' is the first single 'proper' (not counting the limited 7" of 'The Loser') from the critically acclaimed "Enjoy The Melodic Sunshine" album. Cdsingle features 2 new tracks, 7" just the one… but a great track it is tho.. Plenty of live dates in Jan / Feb.. big headlining show at Poptones 'Radio4' big night out at the Scala, Kings Cross, London – Saturday January 20th. A great deal of support for the band in the music press already… more features and reviews etc expected around the single release. Radio is expected to go nuts for this.. they've been asking when there's going to be a 'proper' single for ages, and now here it is.
