Beautiful and haunting, Toronto's Picastro craft bittersweet tunes of dissonance and melody that shake the foundations of dark, brooding, and introspective music. The murmured, detached vocals of Liz Hysen superbly accompany the stark disparate soundscapes created by electric and acoustic guitars, drums, piano, and cello.
