VINYL FORMAT. We're very excited to present the debut release of easily one of the most exhilarating new producers in dance music at the moment - Kingdom. Released in partnership with A-Trak's dominating Fool's Gold label that will handle the digital release, Acéphale's run of this double A-side will be a limited edition of five hundred 10"s. We're very excited about the packaging this time around as it features singular artwork featuring the photographs of Laura Trigg collage by Kingdom himself and printed on a matte sleeve with silver foil embossed lettering on the cover. As with the label's previous limited releases, there will be no repress.

While releasing straight-up dance music is a bit of a departure for the label, a quick listen to the A-Side, "Mindreader," will prove the release's place in the catalogue. Anchored by the classic diva-vocal of NYC's Shyvonne, the production incorporates elements of house, trance, UK Funky and even freestyle. It's a weird and wonderful mix, foreboding one moment and staggeringly uplifting the next. This is futuristic pop music at its best. The AA-Side, "You," goes even harder/deeper and has already been championed by international DJs such as Diplo and Sinden. Less pop, more dance, the track is built around a vocal sample from SWV's "You're The One For Me" which races alongside a chopped up trance synth. "You" is in Kingdom's signature style - a combination of 90's R&B vocals with some of the most forward-thinking production at the moment, as highlighted in his celebrated mixtape for Discobelle.
