The Wolfmen follow-up their 4 limited edition singles with their debut album, a delicious collision of glam-rock and punk-rock entitled Modernity Killed Every Night. It's an 11-track album and features the singles "Jackie Says", "Cecilie" and "Needle In The Camel's Eye" as well as 8 brand new tracks. The band is formed of Marco Pirroni (Siouxsie & The Banshees/Adam & The Ants/Sinead O'Connor) and Chris Constantinou (Adam Ant/Jackie Onassid/Iggy Pop) augmented by Phil Harvey: 2nd guitar/keyboards, Preston Heyman: percussion & Daniel Strittmatter: drums.

George PillsA pleasant enough album with some interesting touches but a bit samey. The one stand out track is the opener, "Needles in a Camel's Eye" - and it's a faithful cover of an Eno song!
