Motel Creeps
The band formed in Hoboken, NJ in the early 2000’s under the musical vision of guitarist and Irishmen Eric Butler. His big swooping guitar sounds emitting from at least dozen effects petals is coupled by singer Greg Welch’s crooning vocal style. The rythmic backbone consists of John Vitelli’s bass and Jim Connolly's drum kit.
An EP released in 2004 titled Pleasantries in the Parlor was the fist kick on indie rock’s door and garnerd favorable reviews by the blogs and indie mags. “City Girl” a signature track the EP was featured on VH1’s My Coolest Years, a show that offerd nostogic look back at typical high school social groups and clicks.
The Gifts of Happenstance, their most recent effort, a full 10 track album, is now available for download at all major online retailers.
