No.9 is Joe Takayuki, an unsung electropop mastermind from Tokyo’s invigorating Onkyo scene. Although No.9’s sound is focused, there’s no doubt that he has a knack for combining all 31 musical flavors and then some. "Mushi-No-Ne" is Joe’s enchanted debut CD release -- hot on the heels of last fall’s EP, “Where Come from? Where to?” which featured remixes by Boston’s Hrvatski and Bundy K. Brown (aka Ken Brown) of Pullman, Directions in Music, and Tortoise fame.
