2011, Ramseur Records
All profits from sale of this album will be donated to the Vickie Honeycutt Foundation. Vickie was a school teacher who inspired her students to be as passionate in their pursuit of knowledge as she was in teaching them. In March of 2010, Vickie lost her battle with cancer. So in honor of Vickie's tireless compassion for her students and fellow teachers, the Vickie Honeycutt Foundation was established in 2010. This non-profit charity helps to give financial support to teachers and educators who are battling cancer.
With the purchase of this album you may have helped keep the power on in someone's home, put food on their table and keep them stocked up with a few of the essentials of daily life. It has been said of Vickie, that no matter how much you loved her, she loved you more.
As you listen it won't take long to realize that this is a unique collection of not-so holiday classics…although we expect soon they all will part of our holiday cannon. This album is brought to you with sincere gratitude from Ramseur Records and Bob Crawford (bassist for The Avett Brothers).
