As the keyboard player for the world renowned hip-hop group, Crown City Rockers, Kat O1O has taken her 2 decades of musicianship and recorded her 1st solo instrumental album, Natural Phenomena. Being an album produced, composed, arranged, and with all the instruments played by her, Natural Phenomena is a hip, cutting edge, sample-free, electro-acoustic, urban instrumental album full of music to mentally massage your mind. Each track brings the listener closer into her musical existence, introducing her growth as a producer while her tracks take you intimately through melodic phrases over electronic yet emotionally driven drum programming. You should find yourself singing along, not with any words per say, but with the melodies of a Moog analog synth, or Melodica, over a lush Rhodes laden bed. This truly is the melting pot of music genres that is: Kat O1O.

Kat O1O was honored to be awarded as the 2005 Best of the East Bay Most Mind-Blowingest Musician!' But she doesn't stop at just performances. She had been commissioned to compose original scores for two independent films, both of which were part of past San Francisco Independent Film Festivals. Most recently, her work as a musician/composer with Thes One (People Under the Stairs) on the original score for Rob Dyrdek's (DC Shoes/MTV) film 'Street Dreams' has been showcased at the Newport Beach Film Festival with a red carpet screening at the Manns Chinese Theater.

Kat has also worked with Ripe Sound as a musician for such advertisements for EHealth and T-Mobile. Her produced work has been used in documentaries such as 'History Detectives' on PBS. She has also recorded music for popular video games such as he Simms Online.'

With all this under her belt, Kat O1O has laid a strong foundation for her to be recognized as a heavy hitter in the 'music for film and advertisements' field... and this is just the beginning.
