Necromance

Czech trio SUNSHINE return to GSL for the North American release of their most recent full-length album, "Necromance." Originally issued in mid-2001 on Europe's Day After Records, "Necromance" has previously been available as an import-only title, and consequently has been largely overlooked on this side of the Atlantic. Occupying a middleground between the sonic attack of AT THE DRIVE-IN and a more futuristic, electronic angle [a la THE FAINT, TRANS AM] SUNSHINE are a volatile cross-section of all things 'indie' with a progressive European flavor. They have toured the U.S. a number of times, supporting the likes of THE LOCUST, AT THE DRIVE-IN, MURDER CITY DEVILS, BOTCH, and the [INTERNATIONAL] NOISE CONSPIRACY. They were an early presence on GSL, releasing a 12" EP and a split single with STARLITE DESPERATION, and we are pleased to make arguably their best release available domestically. The CD re-release of Necromance also includes 4 bonus tracks - previously available on vinyl only as GSL19 Astral Love Remixes EP.
