New Brutalism 2001-2003 is a collection of 3 vinyl only releases plus one unreleased track. Releases compiled on the disc include ABC Group Documentation release “Turbo Record�, Code of Ethics release “A Record of American Fury�, and a track from a split seven inch with Berkley CA’s own Hit Self Destruct released by the Electric Human Project. The tracks on this CD were engineered by Bob Weston of Shellac, and Phillip Manley of Trans AM and Golden. New Brutalism has been consistent and un-relentlessly releasing minimal and brutal rock for over 7 years. New brutalism has released 2 full-length albums, 2 EP’s and 2 seven inches, with songs named after numbers they have reached 064 and counting. The band has constructed there own instruments out of solid aluminum, and hand wired tube amps clad in stainless steel. This is brutal rock from a brutal band.
