New Flowers

Tanlines are Jesse Cohen from Professor Murder, and Eric Emm of Storm & Stress and production duo Brothers (Telepathe, Free Blood, !!!). The Brooklyn based duo came to some prominence / notoriety earlier this year with a playful, synth-led remix of Telepathe’s “Chromes On It”.

This single features the Balearic house-meets-Larry Levan’s NYC disco groove of “New Flowers”, a track created when artist Marisa Olson asked them to contribute to the launch of her art book, “Poems I Wrote While Listening to the Doors, 1992-1994 (Before I Found The Internet)”. They took one word from the suggested poem - “flowers”, and created this euphoric (mostly) instrumental track.
