Night Lights

Mussels is a four piece rock band. They practice in Brooklyn near a suspicious poker game that may or may not be a front of the mob. Mussels doesn't get nosy though. The band formed in August, 2004 after John and Brandon's previous band, Tincantelephone, decided to call it quits. Thanks to a miracle, the two succeeded in finding a powerhouse rhythm section that could match their dynamic vocals and double guitar intensity. Brody B. pounds the crap out of the drums, while Dan B, pretends he is Van Halen on bass. They recorded the EP Night Lights over the winter with engineer and friend Jason Lafarge. It is a blend of early nineties style indie rock and multiple guitar-assault instrumental noise.
