Ghosts I - IV (4xLP)
VINYL FORMAT. Nine Inch Nails presents Ghosts I - IV, a brand new 36 track instrumental collection. Almost two hours of new music composed and recorded over an intense 10 week period last fall, Ghosts I - IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a
variety of new terrain.
Trent Reznor says of Ghosts I-IV "I've been considering and wanting to make this kind of record
for years, but by its very nature it wouldn't have made sense until this point. This collection of music is the result of working from a very visual perspective - dressing imagined locations and scenarios with sound and texture; a soundtrack for daydreams. I'm very pleased with the result and the ability to present it directly to you without interference. Please enjoy the first four volumes of Ghosts."

| I was pleasantly surprised by the works herein. My particular favorites are Downward Spiral and The Fragile. This album leans towards the latter, being entirely instrumental. At times it is slow and beautiful... It transitions, at times becoming somewhat psychotic (in a good sense). There is a definite feel this album has, like a collection of moods as Reznor compares this to daydreams. It was more than I was expecting. It appears Reznor has become more experimental, but still expresses himself fully. Download the first 9 tracks, Ghost 1 and get a feel. This isn't for everyone, especially those who like his older stuff. I think this new direction is great, and I fully support his position regarding torrent downloads and the recording industry.
