No Never Alone

This is the debut release for Shady Lane Records. The label has been set up by Neil Halstead (Slowdive/Mojave3) and Julian Mash with Coley Park leading the charge. Hailing from Reading they specialise in west coast influenced psych pop with the raw edges of early Pavement. Their sound has been likened to the Beachwood Sparks (with whom they have toured ) and the Tyde. Coley Park have been lending musical support to Mojave 3 playing on Excuses for Travellers (4AD) and more recently on Spoon and Rafter (4AD) - playing banjo, lap steel, tin pot drumming and harmonies. Nick Holton of Coley Park produced the Neil Halstead solo album Sleeping on Roads and the band went on to tour the album at a number of European festivals.
