VINYL FORMAT. Carly Simon's No Secrets, and specifically hit single "You're So Vain," have always been at the forefront of discussions of her artistry. This 1972 platinum plus release truly solidified her amazing legacy for years to follow, as a flood of other hit singles from the LP including "The Right Thing To Do" and "(We Have) No Secrets" have all stood the test of time. Friday Music is very pleased to announce the exclusive Carly Simon 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl Series, as we begin with the series with legendary album. Recorded in London, Carly had no issues in rounding up a who's who of guest performers including likes of Paul McCartney, Lowell George, James Taylor, Klaus Voorman, Nicky Hopkins, Bonnie Bramlett, plus that mysterious background vocalist on "You're So Vain." While remastering this in the studio, we were particularly struck with the emotional string arrangement on "When You Close Your Eyes." Carly's sweet vocal presentation, along with Paul Buckmaster's strings, truly made this one of the finest moments of this LP. Enjoy!
