Nodzzz

Bay Area three-piece Nodzzz approach lo-fi in the same manner that Wavves, Tyvek, and Lovvers do, performing loose garage rock melodies and recording them in the red. As a power trio without a bassist, the lineup consists of two guitarist/singers (Anthony Atlas and Sean Paul Presley) and a drummer (Brian Girgus). The band released its first 7ö, I DonÆt Wanna (Smoke Marijuana), in 2007, before signing on with WhatÆs Your Rapture for a 17-minute self-titled album in 2008 and a second 7ö, titled True to Life, in 2009. After performing with Woodsist artists Woods and Real Estate, Nodzzz signed to their label, and slated Innings for 2011. ~ Jason Lymangrover, Rovi
