Nord Express

Ron Harrity and Rob Goldrick formed Nord Express in Baltimore, Maryland around 1993. Rob had previously been in Whorl, a DC-area noise band whose members also included Mike Schulman of Slumberland Records, and Brian Nelson of Velocity Girl. Ron and Rob rehearsed and performed live as a guitar/drums duo. From 1993 to 1997, Nord Express played shows with bands such as the Mountain Goats, Silver Apples, Rocketship, and the Magnetic Fields.
