VINYL FORMAT. "Nothing2Step2" is a bona-fide electric pop anthem that vocalist Isis - her tongue only half in her cheek - refers to as her "Madonna moment." Over another chunk of hugely muscular, hugely emotive electronic dance music from producer Grahmzilla, Isis - who can rap fast and slow, soft and loud - proves that she can really sing, too. As the bass lines swoop up and up, she delivers a classic lov song full of rejection and disappointment but also the strength to carry on. This superb performance shows why Thunderheist are more than just a club act (though this is going to work on the dancefloor, too.)

Grahmnzilla and Isis began Thunderheist to throw a wrench into static hip hop conventions and explore their love for the dancefloor. They are an electro-rap act grounded in rap, bass, and electro, but are also entrenched in disco, funk, and R& B, crafting their own, brand new defintion of future-pop music. There's something infectiously unpretensious and genuine about Thunderheist. They like going out and having a good time, and make the records to reflect this - party music for people who really like partying (and if one doubts it, check the YouTube footage of their guerrilla gig outside Cargo when they were in the UK last December.) Thunderheist is gaining speed and bandwith, one byte per second, and heading straight for tera status. Get ready.
