2005, Narnack Records
A collection of the third and fourth albums from this two-piece acoustic guitar project led by John Dwyer (Coachwhips, Pink & Brown). Given the nature of Dwyer's other pursuits, the muffled, far-off quality of 3 & 4 is a departure, and while some tracks are minimalist beauties, the majority are full of sharp ideas drenched in an intoxicating distance.

Customer Reviews

Ryan Kemp, Latham, NYThis may well rank up there with one of my favorite albums. It does not happen at first, but upon closer inspection it has all of the qualities of what a fav should be. It's long-spanning and singable. It has songs about bizarre subject matters which get lodged in your head. And the production value, which is scant, seems just the way I like it, and always have-lower-fi. John Dwyer is a talented dude, at this pace or any other.
