VINYL FORMAT. West End Motel is the late-night collaboration of guitarist Brent Hinds (Mastodon) and vocalist Tom Cheshire (All Night Drug Prowling Wolves). Together they craft sparse and love-damaged country songs that take on the low and lonesome tides of Gram Parsons, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy and Buck Owens. Their songs are sad, elegant and infinitely compelling; earnest and driven by desire, regret, loathing, catharsis, self-destruction and repair. Tom Cheshire's gravel-coated voice is a gruff companion to Hinds' scenic washes of sun-bleached Americana laid down by steel strings, a toaster, wooden blocks and a lifetime of humbling experiences channeled into four songs....
