Octis is Mick Barr from Orthrelm's solo endeavor. He's been called one of the greatest guitarists in the underground and this debut full-length finds him playing solo over programmed drum machine blast beats. Is it thrash? Jazz? Metal? Avant? Who cares? It's the future. Octis has toured with Dillinger Escape Plan, The Locust, and Converge. All these bands cite Octis as a major influence, and you can hear it in their songs.
