National Bandit is primarily J. P. Buckle (previously The All Seeing I, Rubber Johnny for Warp Records and releases on Rephlex) and whoever he can lure into his Sheffield chamber/studio. J.P. is the dark angel of Cercle. Producing sounds according to ancient ritual, his synthesizer knobs turned by unseen hands, his drum machines spontaneously creating rhythms unheard of beyond the black woods of his back garden. Omega Omaga is disturbing electronic science, bass fizzing on the point of explosion, created on short circuiting synthesizers shortly before their death. Unearthly female voice recorded at a forest ceremony casts its spell on those present, insistent drums kick and crash their way through the darkness with a tight dirty pattern as spooks whoosh through the trees.
