VINYL FORMAT. Reissue of the first Blank Dogs full-length, originally released on Troubleman Unlimited. "Blank Dogs is a one-man enterprise that within the space of approximately one year has somehow managed to release a dozen or so releases; On Two Sides has previously done the rounds thanks to physical releases on Fuck It Tapes and Troubleman, suggesting this Brooklynite is hanging out in all the right crowds. As for the music itself, it's all very much conceived in a lo-fi dungeon, piling on the no-def fuzz and drum machine beats in a manner that's likely to register favorably on the barometer of hipness. At its best the record delivers wafer-thin new wave jams like 'Meltdown Cloud' (like an emaciated Jay Reatard record) or Cure-style pop like 'Blaring Speeches', and it's certainly worth your while ploughing through all that grime and distortion to get to all this jagged excitement."
