John Fiddler (guitar, vocals) and Peter Hope-Evans (harmonica) were 'Medicine Head' the group to inspire DJ John Peel to found his Dandelion label. They were also his best-selling act.
Along with Jethro Tull, Tyrannosaurus Rex and Family, Medicine Head were one of the groups to cross over from underground to chart in the late 60s/early 70s without losing credibility.
John Fiddler and Peter Hope-Evans have since worked with Pete Townshend, David Gilmour, Roger Daltrey and members of the Yardbirds and Mott the Hoople, among many others.
This digital version of the album contains Medicine Head's ten top tracks from John Peel's Dandelion label.
