The talk of the dubstep/grime scene is Boxcutter, here returning with his debut long player via Mike Paradinas' Planet Mu label. Northern Ireland’s Barry Lynn has burst upon the dubstep scene with major hype justified by his single ‘Brood/Sunshine’ on Hotflush. The Boxcutter sound is a sort of cosmic dubstep with guitar, flutes and twisting breaks, but the melodies and production evoke the sort of emotion heard back in mid 90s electronica.
