The Glasgow School (CD)
The definitive collection of Orange Juice's late 70s/early 80s Postcard Records recordings, available for the first time in the US. It really is hard to overstate how important Orange Juice was in terms of influence musically... The Smiths, The Pastels, Belle & Sebastian, Franz Ferdinand and countless others are indebted to this maverick group who were arguably the first big indie/guitar pop sensation in the UK "Whenever I listen to Orange Juice I feel overwhelmed with idealistic optimism. I'm still in awe of the fact that they had the guts to DO it, I still feel yes, anything IS possible..." Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand)

| Wow, what a wonderful collection of Orange Juice's greatest accomplishments.
I would've given this collection an A+++++, but it is not available in Lp form yet. Unfortunately only on sterile cd format.
