VINYL FORMAT. One of the earliest groups to emerge from the Detroit garage rock scene, the Detroit Cobras developed a reputation as the Midwest's finest, and most distinctive, cover band. Preferring to record other artists material to their own, the Cobras would find gems in the vaults of lost R&B and rock'n'roll classics. With songs in hand, the Detroit Cobras modified them to fit their raunchy, swaggering style and aural personality. This set contains all the original recordings including singles and unreleased tracks from 1995-1997. Compiles their very first three 7" singles plus nine previously unreleased studio tracks from the same era.
