Origins

The sophomore release from LA duo VoicesVoices is a six track concept album recorded by Guillermo Scott Herren (Prefuse 73). Herren melds the guitar drone, percussive beats, and vocal looping of Nico Turner and Jenean Farris to a whole new level. Look for them on tour with Prefuse 73 and Gaslamp Killer in early 2010. "The fact that they only started playing with their (borrowed) guitars and effects boxes just over a year ago makes the band even more of a fabled Echo Park music myth, seemingly ingesting every instrument they lay their hands on, spewing out staggeringly beautiful walls of noise with a thunderous, raw drum set." - Dazed & Confused
