VINYL FORMAT. The debut full-length by Natalie Mering, a young itinerant who's spent time in Portland jamming in Jackie-O Motherfucker, traveling abroad alongside Zxolotl, played basement art-rock with a single drummer in Philly, and now resides in Baltimore, where she crafts sprawling, strange, haunted songs with darkly beautiful mourning vocals a la Nico or private press drug-folk sides, sprinkled with odd clanking sounds and creepy FX. The whole record was recorded and mixed by Graham Lamkin (The Shadow Ring) and has some of his meticulous sound-art thumbprint.
