It was designed by Hisham Bharoocha, and printed on American Apparel Fine Jersey Short Sleeve t-shirts in a limited edition of 180! On the heels of our 2009 Collection and driven by the same desire for impeccably designed, quality band apparel, Soundscreen Design approached five highly regarded design studios and fashion designers to create original designs for their choice of two inspiring, influential bands. The 2010 Collection features original designs, printed in limited quantities on American Apparel garments, features custom hang tags denoting designer and band.
About the Designer:
Hisham Akira Bharoocha is an artist currently based in Brooklyn, New York who concentrates on creating music, visual art, and photography. Hisham is well known in the underground music scene for being a founding member of the bands Lightning Bolt, Black Dice and Soft Circle, his solo project. Hisham served as creative director for the Phosphorescence sunglasses collection, which features designs by No Age, Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth, United Bamboo, Erin Wasson, Zero + Maria Cornejo and Opening Ceremony.

Hendrik Weber is the German electronic artist and DJ behind Pantha du Prince. The Berlin based musician is known for his unique and minimal approach to electronic music, drawing influences from British pop, shoegaze, noisepop, and Detroit techno. Pantha du Prince has released three full-length albums. The latest, Black Noise, was released on Rough Trade Records in February 2010, which was created based on field recordings and improvisations while in the Swiss Alps.
