Peace In The Valley

VINYL FORMAT. Rarely are Black Dice songs constructed by ideas derived from other musical sources, but rather from drawings and visual assemblages. This release is an attempt to illustrate more of the process in which the accompanying songs were created. It consists of 40 full color pages of photos, collage works, and illustrations that loosely relate to the two included tracks. The songs maintain some of the abrasiveness of past releases, but are definitely a departure from their earlier recordings on Gravity, Verminscum, and Troubleman Unlimited.
