VINYL FORMAT. Includes digital download card!Steve Reker formed People Get Ready in summer 2009 with Luke Fasano (Yeasayer). Recker was playing guitar for David Byrne, Fasano was playing percussion for Yeasayer. A chance encounter at Austin City Limits the two sensed a common bond, and then set out to start a project combining contemporary dance and performance with a live band experience. The band also includes Jen Goma (A Sunny Day in Glasgow) & James Rickman (Slow Gherkin). The New York Times called it "an experience beyond hearing music in a club or viewing dance."
