Pines of Nowhere were an abrasive post-punk band from the Washington DC area, reminiscent of other DC / Dischord bands such as Bluetip and Kerosene 454 but mixed with elements of Drive Like Jehu / Hot Snakes. Active from around 1999 to 2002, the band released an album on Slowdime Records before fading into obscurity...
