John Lennon's studio albums have been re-mastered from his original mixes! The re-mastering was overseen by Yoko Ono and a team of engineers led by Allan Rouse at EMI Music's Abbey Road Studios, and by George Marino at Avatar Studios in New York, and are presented in softpaks with new liner notes by Paul Du Noyer (Mojo).

Inspired by his primal scream therapy with Dr. Arthur Janov, Lennon created a harrowing set of unflinchingly personal songs, laying out all of his fears and angers for everyone to hear.
