Formed in 2002 Channing Cope has played over 200 shows with bands such as The Fucking Champs, Shannon Wright, Dresden Dolls, Liz Durett, The American Analogue Set, Aspects of Physics, Sleeping People, Glass Candy and many more. The sound of Channing Cope could be described as....(you decide).../ Channing Cope's debut album titled Leaving the Ramp was recorded by Rafter Roberts (Sufjan Stevens, The Album Leaf. Bunky etc...), so is the band's second album Sugar in our Blood. Channing Cope's 3rd album is called Plunge into Contempt and was recorded by Ben Moore (Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu etc...).
