Darren Hayman and John F Morrison formed The French immediately after splitting from cult favourites Hefner in 2001. Concentrating on an exclusively electronic style they experimented for two years with broken rythmn boxes and modular systems.
This was the bands first and only single, a double a-side Pornshoes / Gabriel in the Airport.
This EP also features two exclusive and rare songs that don't currently appear on any other Darren Hayman release, the fractured and heartbroken 'Punk Rock's Going to Die' and the bizarre 'Nasty and Mean'.
