VINYL FORMAT. The Potential Johns is the solo pop explorations of Jeff Burke of the Marked Man. This 7-inch is composed of two tracks of lo-fi pop genius, recorded on the eve of Jeff's move to Japan. While retaining the catchiness and energy of past efforts, the songwriting here takes a turn for the reflective and bittersweet, and the tempos are slowed down a bit from the break-neck pace of your typical Marked Men song. Still rocks like crazy, though. Includes a free download.
