Rain

Aurora Borealis is proud to present Rain by the ultra obscure Fauna. Based in the temper¬ate rain forest region of the Pacific Northwest, Fauna are a strongly eco-centric two piece band working in the black metal genre. Rain consists of one epic track lasting over an hour. Beginning with a field recording of rain in a forest, the piece thereafter becomes an acous¬tic journey; sung vocals complete this section before a raw black metal surge of power and pummel. Fauna create honest, atavistic music; more strongly aligned in spirit with hardcore punk than any of the more commercial strands of black metal and the (largely) faux Satanic pantomime. Fauna create original, honest, and necessary music in dark times for humanity and the world that nurtures us.
