Raven In The Grave

VINYL FORMAT. For their fifth album together, the Raveonettes' Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo have crafted what they are calling the "perfect winter soundtrack" in Raven in the Grave. That shouldn't come to much of a surprise for fans who have followed the duo since their 2003 debut full-length, Chain Gang of Love. Wagner and Foo's penchant for noise-pop has a tendency to drift between sweet surfer-rock and dark shoegaze. The Raveonettes are apparently embracing the latter with Raven in the Grave; consider it tailor-made for the colder, shorter months. It's their first album since 2009's In and Out of Control. - Prefix
